What you’ll learn
This certificate course prepares you to handle cases from intake through trial. You’ll learn essential legal terms, causes of action, remedies, negligence theory, case building, and investigation techniques. The course covers various injury claims, damages, statutes of limitations, and liability schemes. Offered in partnership with CLS by BARBRI, this comprehensive course teaches you how to interview witnesses, review records, organize trial notebooks, and understand concepts like product liability and duty of care.

Continuing Education Information
Students will be awarded a Certificate of Program Completion for 4.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successfully completing the course.
This is an accelerated course. You will be expected to spend an average of 8-12 hours per week reading and completing assignments. Please note that extensions will not be granted for this online course. 70% is the minimum passing score on all tests and assignments for this course.
